When I Hear the Word ‘Lighting’ I Usually Think of Home Design, not Airports

Airport lightingMark and I were recently discussing issues we’d been having with a motion sensor exterior light fixture he had installed over our rear deck and back yard. We were getting very frustrated because the bulbs were burning out in less than two weeks.

So, when I came across the Genesis Lamp website, I decided to take a look and see what else they might offer that would serve our purpose, be much longer lasting, more economical and environmentally friendly.

They do offer a wide variety of bulbs in various types, styles, sizes and wide-ranging price ranges, but what truly amazed me was that they sell a wide variety of airport lighting. This piqued my interest because I had never come across a lighting business before that included airport lighting in their range, and because of our connection through my husband’s aviation career with an aerospace company in Abbotsford. His interest was piqued as well and he asked me to send him the link so he could check it out.

If anyone’s interested in building their own private runway, you can order all of the lighting you’ll need. Just make sure you have the size of property needed to make the runway long enough. No-one needs an airplane in their living room.
